Residential Hall Permits

General Information

Parking permits are sold as academic year or quarterly. Weekly or daily permits are available for a fee for visitors. Resident hall (HR) permits are only available to those students living in the residence halls.

If you applied for housing before May 1st, 2013, and chose the Platinum or Gold dining plan, your parking permit is included with the Sign Up Bonus. If you do not qualify for the Sign Up Bonus, contact Parking Services at (509) 359-PARK for further instruction. The annual parking permit fee is $105.00.

Permit Processing Information

If you wish to apply for a parking permit, please complete and submit the form prior to September 4th. We'll process your application and mail the parking permit to your home address. Submissions after Sept 4th must be picked up at the Parking Services office located in 131 Tawanka Hall.

The annual permit will cover all four quarters of parking in your residential lot starting September 1, 2013 and will expire on August 31, 2014. If you choose to purchase three quarterly permits, the quarterly price is $40.00. However, quarterly permits cannot be purchased via the mail. Please come to our office and purchase a quarterly permit when you arrive.

Residence Hall (RH) students are issued a universal RH Permit which is valid at marked, shaded areas indicated on the map. Brewster Hall (DH) permits are for other DH lots near Brewster (not shown on this map). RH permits and DH permits are not interchangeable. Brewster Hall residents will receive a DH permit map when they arrive.
 
Your parking permit does not guarantee a space next to your residence hall. If all legal spaces in the lot next to your hall are full, you must choose another RH lot. Brewster residents have two nearby DH lots to choose from.
