In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can.

    -Nikos Kazantzakis

Mimi Mulambo is originally from Zambia, Africa and moved to the United States 9 years ago. She is ambitious and loves meeting new people. Mimi believes that her decision to attend EWU has been one of the smartest decisions she has had to make and is now understanding how big the transition to college may be. Working with New Student Transitions and Parent Programs, the department has inpired her to challenge any obstacle and opportunity to advance personally, academically, and professionally. She is a proud member of the Tau Gamma Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi Women's Fraternity, the Vice President of Finance and Administration on the Panhellenic Council, an EWU Tour Guide, as well as one of EWU's Orientation Coordinators. These positions have helped her develop and make her proud to call herself an Eastern Eagle! She says, "It is definitely always a great day to be an eagle and I hope your Eastern experience can help you start something BIG!"
