Academic Assessment
Assessment is fundamental to our identity as a teaching institution. It sits at the core of our mission: student learning. Academic assessment is not a responsibility confined to a single, centralized committee; rather, this responsibility is distributed among all who shape the student learning experience.

The Provost's Academic Innovation Series
Established in 2005, the Provost’s Academic Innovation Series was created as part of the university’s commitment to supporting professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. The Innovation Series brings nationally recognized educators to campus to share innovative ideas and programs. Presentation themes are identified for the purpose of stimulating and enhancing campus dialogue and thought on topics directly related to Eastern’s on-going strategic planning initiatives and university mission.
