Office of Grant and Research Development

The Office of Grant & Research Development serves the EWU community by helping staff and faculty submit proposals for external funding, administer grants and contracts, ensure compliance with regulations and conduct research responsibly. 

The Office of Grant and Research Development reviews and approves all applications for external funding, whether federal, state, local or private prior to submission, as required by university policy.

Our staff will help you

• Find funding.

• Write a proposal or develop a budget.

• Set up an account, track spending, submit a report, or manage an award.

• Comply with human subject regulations (IRB), including finding IRB forms.

• Do training on responsible conduct of research.

At Eastern Washington University all applications for external funding, whether federal, state, local or private, must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Grant and Research Development prior to submission.
