What is EagleFlex?

The EagleFlex is a prepaid, declining balance account which has a similar principle as a debit card.
 

What is it for?

The EagleFlex program allows you flexible spending options on and off campus for purchases of textbooks, printing, food, after hours pizza delivery, espresso, healthcare items, etc.
 

Who is it for?

EagleFlex is for students who are living on and off campus, employees/faculty/staff, and community members.
 

How do I open an EagleFlex account?

EagleFlex accounts may be opened by students or staff by visiting the Tawanka Business Office room 120, Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. A $5.00 minimum deposit is required to open an EagleFlex account. Cardholder understands that the EagleFlex is non-transferable and agrees to abide by all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures specified by the University and the EagleCard Office. Deposits may be made by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Parents are welcome to call and deposit funds to the account of their student once the account has been opened.

4 ways to add money to your EagleFlex

1. Come to the Dining Office, Room 120 Tawanka Commons and add money by cash, check, or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
2. Cash deposits can also be made using PHIL machines (ATM-like devices located in Tawanka, JFK Library, PUB and Riverpoint Library).
3. Call our office at 509-359-6184. Be prepared with your Credit Card and personal information.
4. Send us a check with a note that indicates your name & EWU ID #. (Make check payable to "EWU")

Cash withdrawals / Refunds

Cash withdrawals from the account are not permitted. Refunds can be processed upon request at graduation or withdrawal from EWU. Contact the EWU Dining Office, 120 Tawanka Commons, 509.359.6224, for more information. All refunds will be assessed a $25 check processing fee.
 

Expiration

EagleFlex funds carry forward to the next term or year and are not subject to an expiration date as long as it is active within two years. Accounts having no activity for two years will be purged.
