MS CS Graduate Service Appointments

The department offers graduate assistantships to well qualified applicants, based upon assistantship waiver allocations distributed by the university.  The positions are in teaching computer literacy, systems administration support, and teaching support for the department.  The assistantships require 20 hours per week of work and offer a stipend and tuition waiver.

To apply for an assistantship in the Computer Science Department, please provide a cover letter explaining why you would be an outstanding graduate assistant, along with a completed  department-specific application  (not the form found at the Graduate Program site) and two letters of reference from an employer or other individuals who can address your work or volunteer experience.  Submit these documents directly to the department.  They can be scanned and emailed to compsci@ewu.edu, or delivered or mailed to 319F Computing and Engineering Building, Cheney, WA 99004-2493.
