Print off your class schedule and find your books by the course code, course number and section number (example: ENGL 101-05). To find your class schedule in MyEWU, go to:
- Click "Concise Student Schedule" in the "Registration Tools box" (in the left-hand column).
Complete online New Student Orientation
Complete the Online New Student Orientation for transfer students. The Online New Student Orientation has been designed to acquaint new students with many of the aspects of campus life and the Cheney community. Many challenges lie ahead, and all new students should use this time to become familiar with campus and the many resources available. The Online Orientation will help you discover these resources.

Early in the quarter
Meet with your advisor
Remember to make your appointment early in the quarter to meet with your academic or departmental advisor. Connect with your Academic Advisor (and find their contact information). Priority Registration for the next term begins the 7th week of the current term. Transfer students with less than 45 earned credits must meet with their academic or departmental advisor prior to registering each quarter. Advisors' calendars typically fill quickly, so make sure to schedule your advising appointment early each quarter!
Take the Math Placement Test
Take the Math Placement Test as soon as possible if you did not take (and pass) a mathematics course at your previous college or university. Please note that most math and science classes require placement testing or previous college coursework in math. Check the Math Placement Test website for test dates, practice test and instructions.
