Academic Success Center Mission

The mission of the Academic Success Center (ASC) is to provide services that address the assessed and expressed academic needs of enrolled students at Eastern Washington University with an emphasis placed on services for undergraduate students who are low-income, first-generation, and/or have a registered disability.  The ASC provides trained and dedicated professional and peer staff members who are committed to helping students persist and graduate.

The ASC offers a nurturing environment that encourages students to develop their maximum potential through multiple layers of support services in a holistic approach to student development, learning and persistence. The ASC cultivates unique learning opportunities for students through collaborative sessions such as tutoring, academic success courses, financial literacy, and academic advising which are designed to enable students to achieve excellence. The ASC is dedicated to creating academically engaging communities and fostering a campus-wide commitment to learning.
